Working principle
Electric tar traps include positive and negative poles (positive electrode is the electric tar traps’ grounding, and negative is the corona pole feeding high voltage direct current). Containing tar and other solid particles, the gas goes into the electric tar precipitator. Under the action of 40 to 60 kV high voltage electric field, the gas surrounding the corona polar ionizes, producing electrons and ions with positively charge. In the process of gas flow, tar is attracted by electrons and positive ions, forming charged tar particles. Under the action of high pressure electric field, these tar particles gradually move to the precipitation pole, and constantly absorb tar or dust to form larger particles, which are eventually absorbed by the precipitation pole and stick to the pipe wall, achieving the goal of removing tar.
